Four Decades of Friendship

Schack Art Center welcomes the artistry and legacy of two of Camano Island’s most celebrated watercolorists, John Ebner and John Ringen. Through four decades of friendship these two painters have captured the beauty and tranquility of their beloved island and beyond. From Ebner’s ethereal mountains and hidden coves to Ringen’s color-washed abstracts and energetic renderings, this collection represents the dedication, skill, and vision only attained through a lifetime immersed in the craft.

Schack Art Center is an admission free, visual art center in Everett, WA. We exhibit contemporary art focusing on issues of social justice, celebrating diverse cultures, and bringing nontraditional art to the public. Our galleries are open 6 days a week and feature artwork from local, national, and international artists, as well as emerging young talents.
