  • What is MAC Fest?
SCAAC has been putting on arts events and providing education in the community for several years. We want to celebrate that success with fun art stuff for everyone…and introduce ourselves to anyone that doesn’t know us yet. We’ll kick off MAC Fest with a Block Party on Saturday, September 14th on the brick road...right in front of the future Meyer Art Center. For the next 8 days, we’ll offer arts education, events and exhibits for all ages. We'll wrap up the event with a Happy Hour Fundraiser - free for the community to attend with lots of opportunities to support our mission (hint hint - the raffle items are INCREDIBLE!)
  • Why do an arts fest?
Because they're fun! Community events gather people together to connect over a shared experience. Our mission is to build community through the arts...so...just makes sense! Attending MAC Fest events will support SCAAC's programs. In lieu of a one-night gala as a fundraiser, we are welcoming the entire community (& beyond) to experience all that SCAAC has to offer.
  • Where is it?
MAC Fest Headquarters the Sons of Norway, Fritjov Lodge in west Stanwood. Find us there to ask questions, purchase tickets, view the MAC Fest murals, attend classes and more. Bonus: the Lodge is located just a few doors down from the future art center! We are partnering with artists, businesses and other organizations to include a wide variety of art events and education. Be sure to check the location of events and classes when purchasing tickets.
